“The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus “- Alexander Graham Bell

How do you bring your work to a focus? Last week’s Focus Fridays mentioned effectively using your available time. What does that mean for writers? What are some ways you can make good use of your time?

One way that may be considered a bit unconventional (but hey, you’re a writer) is ‘day dreaming’. To many, this may not seem like work, but mentally plotting settings, scenarios, character sketches and dialogue, is actually a major part of the writing process. How else do writers pen stories!

Of course there are a number of other ways you can focus on writing and use your time effectively.

What about you? How do you incorporate writing into your day?
